Start with the part of your holiday you will repeat
Compare how often you will return to the town centre, the beach or the marina. For a coastal or park-focused stay, also compare Long Beach and Güzelçamlı—but map the actual property before deciding.
One Ephesus excursion does not have to determine a whole beach holiday. Equally, if most of your itinerary is around Selçuk and Ephesus, compare a base there instead of assuming Kuşadası is the only option.

Central sightseeing or repeated beach days?
Write down three places you expect to return to, then compare the journey from each shortlisted hotel. For a short town-led stay, count the port meeting point, evening meal and next departure. For a beach-led stay, count the actual shore entrance, somewhere to eat and the route back with your beach bags.
Distance alone can hide the awkward part: a slope, road crossing, steps or a long walk inside a large property. If you will not have a car, identify a workable return for your usual evening—not only the outward daytime journey. Do not assume a hotel shuttle operates unless the property confirms it for your dates.
Room-only, breakfast or all-inclusive?
Room-only leaves meals outside the booking. Breakfast can suit days spent exploring, provided its serving time fits your departure. All-inclusive can make sense when you expect to use the property's meals and facilities, but compare the actual package rather than the label.
Mark your planned excursions before paying more for included meals. A lunch you will miss is not a saving. Check drinks, restaurant reservations, extras and arrival/departure-day rules in the current offer. Compare the whole cost of staying there
Use the same dates, guests, room category and cancellation terms for each offer. Add arrival and departure transport, journeys you expect to repeat, meals outside the package and any essential paid extras. Keep optional upgrades separate so they do not disguise the basic cost.
A cheaper room can still be the wrong choice if every evening requires a journey you do not want to make. A more central room is not automatically better value either: compare the plans you will actually follow, including travel time and waiting as well as money. This guide does not publish a live room-price range.
Check the room, not just the hotel label
For families, confirm the actual beds, any cot charge and whether connecting rooms are guaranteed or only requested. Ask which facilities operate during the stay and what age or booking conditions apply. A family-room label does not establish separate sleeping space.
For an essential access requirement, check the route from drop-off to reception, room and the facilities you intend to use. Ask about steps, lifts and the beach approach specifically. If sleep is a priority, ask about the offered room's position rather than assume an entire neighbourhood is quiet. Keep essential answers with the reservation.
